FAQ
Do you have a studio?
I currently do not have an indoor studio, I am a natural light photographer and prefer to shoot outdoors! I do in home newborn and lifestyle shoots with adequate natural light (big windows are always best!), but as far as families and portraits go, I prefer location shoots!
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Freeburg, MO (smack dab between Jefferson City and Rolla), and yes! I will travel within reason! Sessions over 50 miles away require travel fees, including mileage, meals, and lodging, and parking if needed.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all regular sessions within 3 weeks. Wedding albums can be expected within 6-8 weeks.
You can download the number of photos included in your package for free, and you may download additional (or all!) photos from the gallery for an additional fee. You may also order prints from my pro printing lab or an album specially curated for you!
How many pictures will we receive?
Each package comes with it's own amount of included images, but I will always take more pictures than what's included, and I will send you a proofing gallery for you to choose which images you'd like to receive with your package, this way you can choose extras to purchase if you'd wish!
What if we don’t need an engagement session?
I do suggest doing an engagement session because it helps me get to know you and also helps yourself and your fiance get comfortable in front of the camera! It will also give us a chance to get to know each other better and be able to discuss more about your wedding details in person!
However, my engagement sessions are a gift to you with my higher packages, so if you don't want to take advantage of them, I won't make you!
How much editing do you do?
Post-processing is the most time intensive part of your gallery as we work hard to ensure every image meets our artistic standard. Every photo has our custom look applied, and is adjusted for things like brightness and optimal color. Other than small imperfections (a few acne spots, minor stretch mark and bruise blurring), body alterations are not included in editing but can be outsourced for an additional fee.
Do you have a second shooter?
I don't! I am a one-woman show, aside from my assistant who is always here with me to make sure the posing is on point and to catch run away hair!
